Morocco national football team
morocco or the official name is Kingdom of Morocco It is a country in Northwest Africa. It has a long coastline on the Atlantic Ocean. which passes through the Strait of Gibraltar into the Mediterranean It is bordered east to Algeria. (This side of the border is closed) South to Western Sahara North to the Mediterranean Sea and west to the Atlantic Ocean. Morocco has claimed rights over the Western Sahara and has ruled the area since 1975. The status of the Western Sahara is still controversial and awaiting a UN referendum.
Morocco national football team It is the representative football team of Morocco, currently with Hervé Renard as its manager. Morocco won the Africa Cup of Nations in 1976 and is also the first African team to win their group at the World Cup. which took place in 1986, they were in the same group with Portugal, Poland and England.
Morocco is the first African team to qualify for the knockout stages. They were eliminated by losing to West Germany. (Runner after the tournament) 1-0 in the same year, later in 1998. Norway's victory over Brazil Morocco was eliminated from the group stage. Morocco has qualified for the 2018 World Cup final for the first time in 20 years.
