John Stones (born 28 May 1994) is an English footballer currently playing for Manchester City FC as a defender. He has been named as Peter Taylor's 21-man manager. He made his England Under-20 debut on 16 June in a 3–0 friendly against Uruguay. He made his debut against Scotland, playing all 90 minutes of the 6-0 win for England, and in May 2018 he was named in England's preliminary squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
