Toby Alderweireld Born March 2, 1989, Belgian currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur's Belgian national team as a defender. Alderweireld represents Belgium at under-17 level in October 2005. and took part in the 2006 UEFA U17 Championship. After the 2008–09 season ended, he made his Belgian debut in the friendly competition. In October 2009 the team lost 2–0 to Estonia and in May 2018 he was named in Belgium's preliminary squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
